Folk have always felt the draw of the sea, visiting and in many cases residing at the coast. The ever changing sea enchants, mystifies and sometimes frightens us. Tides are the rise and fall of sea levels caused by the combined effects of gravitational forces exerted by the Moon, Sun and the rotation of the Earth.
